These filter foam holders are designed specifically to fit the OASE BioTec® and OASE BioSmart® filters.

Which Filter Do I Have?

OASE has had three generations of gravity filters. Gen 1 was the BioTec 5 10 30 filters. Gen 2 was the BioTec 5.1 10.1 12 filters. Gen 3 is the Biosmart 5000 10000 filters.

• BioTec 5 10 30 were made between 2003-2005.
• BioTec 5.1 10.1 12 were made between 2005-2014.
• BioSmart 5000 10000 were made 2015 onwards.

  • blue foam holder is for the OASE BioSmart 5000, 10000, 5.1 and 10.1 red or blue foams
  • black foam holder is for the OASE BioSmart 5000, 10000, 5.1 and 10.1 green foam
